TALCA-CONSTITUCION RAILCAR
TerraSur Service to the Seventh Region allows you to reunite with the traditions, culture and people of our land.
The train stations are located in the city of Talca, Maule Region, from where two traditional Talca-Constitución Railcar services operate.
This train is a landmark and one of the regions finest assets. It transports over 80,000 passengers a year, and fulfills a social role by providing many of its regular customers the only means of transportation available to the regional capital.
This train route is known locally as the “Branch Line” -- that is, a line that branches off from the main railway line -- in reminiscence of Chilean railroad’s past glory.
Branch lines were once a common sight throughout Chile. Today only one remains – the one that runs between Constitución, Talca and midpoints.
To travel with us is to go back in time to reunite with the traditions, culture and people of our land. Travel by train through unique landscapes and spectacular scenery and leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city.
